Stephen's got a thing for skunks and I'm not quite so sure about them myself, so I had to investigate. Would skunks be cuter if the imminent threat of skunking (the seriously smelly spray that sticks to your skin like glue) wasn't in existence?

I'm not so sure, but I'm going to watch 1,000s of skunk videos to find out. Here are my TOP FIVE:


  • This lady's got two dogs, three cats, a few birds and, oh right, FORTY-TWO SKUNKS. They are scary, yet adorable at the same time.
  • A skunk and kitty play with toys! The skunk actually looks like more fun than the kitty, but would I want to squeeze it? Not convinced quite yet...
  • One of the big tests of an animals' cuteness: babies! These baby skunks make weird noises and come off as rodent-y to me... Not cute yet!
  • A cat sniffs a skunk's butt...Kind of intriguing.
  • OK: a cat & skunk play together and I am sold. Skunks: very cute, although I'm not sure I'd hug one just yet!
