America is waiting with baited breath until the results of the American Idol finale are revealed next week. For the next few days people will be making predictions about who will go home the winner, and we think we've uncovered the most accurate way to pick the winner. While other blogs employ a variety of methods to guess the winner -- mainstream media buzz, keyword frequency, a metric we don't understand about the frequency of busy signals during voting hours --- we at Urlesque can predict the American Idol champion using the most reliable of methods... a fan tribute video showdown.
The effort it takes to create these YouTube masterpieces is directly related to the likelihood of a devoted fanbase to sit on their phones for 2 hours of power-voting their Idol to the crown. It's Adam Lambert and Kris Allen in a photo-cube, sparkly-star-fade battle to the death!!!
ADAM LAMBERT FAN TRIBUTES
- Just Dance (CopiPan) - Simple, to the point. Adam has moves -- worth repeating over and over.
- Androgyny (catowl09) - A tribute to Adam's style, all the makeup and costumes from his pre-Idol days mixed with his Idol performance wear.
- Poker Face (yaymeproductions) - We've never seen the photo cube technique used more efficiently!
- I Just Love You (Livinonfaith) - Intense graphics and notes about how kissable Adam looks.
- Fake Exit Video (llykowsk) - To motivate fans, this fake exit package was made. Comments included: "Omg , I Realize ITs Not Real, But Wow i Started To Cry :[ I Never Ever Wanna See This Ever Again . Vote for Adam Like your Lives Depend On It !" Woah there.
- In The Mood For Love (HidewayLover) - Transitions are key.
- INSANE GRAPHICS (b4negron) - We have no idea what this song is, but the use of graphics is amazing on this one.
- With Me (xXxMeggersxXx) - The mind-melting combo of baby pictures and a Sum 41 song.
While Kris Allen is a sweet guy and his fans have some mad graphic skills, Adam Lambert will take the Idol crown for sheer volume alone, not to mention his fans' fantastic song choice and editing skills. However, if you're still really torn there's always the option of jointed Kris/Adam videos all over YouTube. Our favorite:

I voted for Kris because I think he will get Danny's votes and there is only a 1 million vote difference out of 88 million votes but, I prefer Adam.

A lot of people want to know who will win American Idol. Who will win American Idol is a hot topic every year, as American Idol winners and runners up become enormous stars. Names such as Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, Jennifer Hudson, these are entertainment heavyweights. After watching Kris Lambert I could not believe a mediocre singer won over him. He has star power,
showmanship and a voice that we haven't heard since
Freddie Mercury or Sam Harris.
If he put a show on tomorrow, I'd buy tickets, he is that good.
