Why do we love three-legged dogs? The fact that we find the handicap unbearably "cute" is, admittedly, totally embarrassing. Because really, "tripod dogs" are by no means looking for pity (although, sorry, two-legged dogs dragging your butts on wheels, but you've rightly earned both our pity and all the hugs we can offer).
Proud owners of tripod dogs have taken to YouTube to show the world that their pooches are no different than everyone else's: ready to play and hungry for love. And we've got nothing but for these guys.

Three legged dogs do great getting around so long as they do not have any other arthritis problems or other injuries. I just saw a dog the other day with no front legs and he was able to get around well. I have to admit it was a bit sad. The little guy did not know any different as he was born that way.

As humans, we're often the ones who think of these guys as having a handicap! They have no idea that they're any different! I actually wrote an article about the care of 3 legged dogs recently if you want to check it out - http://www.dogguide.net/tripod-dogs.php
