Yesterday, when Jordan posted a picture of Bea Arthur -- dare we say it -- beadazzled, we thought that maybe we had seen the face of God. And she was beautiful.

But, really, it was just Bea Arthur... beajeweled (sorry, I had to).

However, the fun doesn't end there. In what appears to be a total coincidence, a very intelligent young woman who goes by grammardog on Craftster whipped up her own Golden Girls-inspired portrait!

This masterpiece manages to glitter almost as much as the rhinestone gown Bea's own Dorothy Zbornak wore to the charity dance-a-thon ball on, like, every episode (seriously, how many charity balls can a substitute teacher attend?!).

Black and crystal glitter and glue on 16 x 20" canvas. I found the portrait on the internerd, Photoshopped it a bit, divided it into 80 even squares as in a graph paper type of deal, drew a similar but larger grid on my canvas, and painstakingly drew all the little knobs and bobs of the Girls. Then I even more painstakingly applied glue and glittered all night long.

If we threw a party and invited every one we knew, you would see the biggest gift would be a 16x20 canvas of The Golden Girls, all sparkly and sh*t.

You go, [Golden] girl!
