Urlesque counts down the top 100 viral videos in the history of the web.

The Internet is waiting for you to fail. On its worst days, participating in Internet culture can be a fight to the bitter finish, in which moments of despair become the laughing stock of trolls everywhere. And this classic video, in which a local news reporter falls face-flat into the earth, could easily provide an unnecessarily mean-spirited mass guffaw at the expense of the poor lady. Yet, in spite of the endless sack of local news gaffes that live on the YouTube, this one has become a viral phenomenon.

While participating in a grape-stomping contest, the reporter announces a fake-out and playfully "cheats" her competition which quickly earns her the schadenfreude of any viewer who doesn't buy in to the saccharine, nothing-but-smiles attitude of the reporter covering the human interest beat. Plus, the noises she makes after the fall (and, better yet, the response of her colleagues in the studio -- "Youch!") have forever been etched into viral history, and deservedly so.

As expected, the grape lady had been parodied and remixed with the best of them.
