Seriously, I watched this show obsessively when I was growing up in suburban Detroit. WGPR-62 was a typical low-wattage UHF station back in those days, so they didn't have much programming - maybe reruns of Rockford Files or Ironside were on sometimes, but it seemed like New Dance Show was on most of the time you turned it on. I was 8 years old when I first saw it, and my sister and I spend hours slack-jawed in front of the TV, trying to take in all the dance moves.
