Urlesque counts down the top 100 viral videos in the history of the web.

#60 - Parry Gripp Remixes - Cat Flushing the Toilet

On the Internet, animals and speaking literally go hand in hand, so when brilliant songsmith Parry Gripp made a music video exclusively featuring cats flushing toilets, gold was struck. Parry Gripp has continued to cash in on the animal-[verb]ing-a-[noun] phenomenon, releasing ditty after ditty that mixes found YouTube videos with his original songs -- illustrating the best of stupid videos featuring animals and stuff. (Disclaimer: the majority of the Urlesque staff each have a Parry Gripp song set as his/her ringtone, so, yeah, we're obsessed.) - EG

#59 - Avril Lavigne, 'Girlfriend'

Pop-punk songstress Avril Lavigne's anthem to girlfriend-hating and man-stealing holds the top spot on YouTube for the most viewed video of all time, but it didn't get there truly organically. Avril's die-hard fans at AvrilBandAids.com were the first to successfully game YouTube view counts in a massive way by using a complex scheme to cheat the system by opening browsers that refreshed every 15 seconds to repeatedly play the video. They then used the publicity from their cheating scheme to push the clip over the top virally. Well played, mall punks. -RV

#58 - Whistle Tips with Bubb Rubb and Lil' Sis

Quirky local news clips take on a completely new life online. In this early example of a clip (from 2003) gone viral, the KRON local news team in California investigates whistle tips, a modified exhaust pipe in a car that creates a loud whistle noise. In true local news fashion, the reporter finds the most oddball pro-whistle tip couple possible to interview -- who have both since become viral stars in their own right with their own catchphrases to boot. -KR

#57 - Breakdance Baby Kick

You know when your 3-year-old cousin ran down the hill at grandma's house and lost his footing and ended up rolling down head over heels and you tried not to laugh but ended up busting your gut and everyone hated you? Well, that's how you'll feel when you watch this. We all did. Bless his little brokedanced heart. -SL

#56 - Cockroach vs. Weatherman

If you work at a 24-hour news station, it doesn't matter if the roaches only come out at night; some effeminate weatherman is bound to see one while he's giving his forecast. The only shocker in this video is that the weatherman didn't snag a Cable ACE award for his performance. It's pure viral gold. -JB
