Urlesque counts down the top 100 viral videos in the history of the web.

#55 - Potter Puppet Pals

We know, nothing is more popular than Harry Potter. That's why, when this parody of the film appeared on the YouTubes -- using puppets to play the young wizards (except for Neville Longbottom, who is played by a squash) -- its most famous episode, "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" soon became the 17th-most viewed video on YouTube with over 60 million views. Neil Cicierega created the Puppet Pals, who first appeared as animations on Newgrounds in 2003 (that's pre-YouTube, people!). We can pretty much guarantee that as long as the wizard-craze lasts (how many movies are left?) so will love for the Puppet Pals, who continue to rack up views. -LW

#54 - Hahaha (Laughing Baby)

Sometimes, it's the simple things that amuse us. Uploaded in 2006, this infamous video shows a baby laughing. That's it. With over 80 (!!!) million views and counting, Little William Nilsson stole the collective heart of the Internet with his chubby cheeks and bubbling spirit. And like many of his peers on this list, Nilsson has had his moment in the sun on South Park, and heck, the he has even brightened the Queen of England's day. Who says we need CGI to be entertained? -KR

#53 - Howard Dean Scream

Howard Dean's Scream will go down in history as the first time the immense gaffe-amplifying powers of the internet joined forces with the 24 hour news cycle to totally kneecap a politician. Back in 2004, before a President had used the internet to get himself elected and YouTube was still a relatively new phenomenon, Dean got a little too pumped up after a loss in the Iowa caucuses and destroyed his candidacy in a matter of minutes. Millions watched the frightening clip over and over again, and decided Dr. Dean would make an awesome Chairman of the DNC. El Presidente, not so much. -AM

#52 - Fred

It might be hard to believe, but this crazed, helium-voiced kid by the name of Fred Figglehorn is the star of the most subscribed YouTube channel -- with over 36 million views to boot. Lucas Cruikshank, a 15-year old from Nebraska, plays Fred and is more popular than most Disney Channel hits. -LW

#51 - The Landlord

The premise was simple enough: Will Ferrell is shooting the sh*t with his buddy, director Adam McKay, when all of a sudden, Ferrell's landlord, Pearl, rings the doorbell and trash-talks the comedy star for stalling on paying his monthly rent. Of course, this is Will Ferrell we're talking about here, so Pearl just happens to be McKay's real-life daughter, who measures at about two feet tall and maybe 25 pounds. She's an adorable tyke with a filthy mouth, and helped make Funny Or Die (Ferrell and McKay's newly launched website) the primo location for online comedy shorts. -EG
