Yesterday Apple announced details about the operating system for the next generation of iPhones. So that's cool.

But we're not a tech site. That's Engadget's job. What we do is bring you stupid awesome stuff, and that's why you should be made aware of a new game in development for the iPhone 3.0 (and the iPod Touch).

It's called Touch Pets, and it allows you to own a "pet" that you can tickle with your fingers, which is very important. Additionally, you can connect to a global dog feed, arrange phone-to-phone play-dates, and -- again -- tickle your dog!

Did we mention you can tickle your dog?
