Was these taken from http://www.bizarrerecords.com? I swear I've seen all of them on there before, but the site isn't mentioned in your post.

Say Victor--When did record companies not put blacks on their covers? That I Dig Chicks looks like around 1961 or so. Capitol records had several black artists then and they were on the covers. You've obviously been brainwashed into believing this racist BS. Too bad your teachers didn't spend time teaching you how to write and spell.

The frivolous 5 cover is a parady of Herb Albert's Tijuana Brass cover called Whipped Cream and Other Delights. It features a provocative brunette covered in whipped cream on the cover. I actually bought it at random at a thrift store last year =)

A lot of these albums are in the book Horrifically Bad Album Covers by Nick DiFonzo. I was expecting this article to be a rehash, but some are new. Whenever I need a good laugh I pick up that book.

As far as your gay references go, these innuendos didn't exist at that time in which those albums were released, and you've presented here out of context. Considering this, they're not really all that odd.
