We're so proud of 71-year-old Jane Fonda for talking to the ladies of 'The View' about her attempt to "teach old dogs new tricks" (her words, not ours) by starting a Twitter!

Not only does Jane already make ample use of hashtags (and does so, correctly), but the actress is also planning to use microblogging to take her readers behind the scenes of her play, 33 Variations.

Jane was sick in bed for The Oscars, although she's also already won two, and still managed to tweet through (most of) the ceremonies.
