Remember the short-lived, dream-crushing show, American Inventor? It showcased the seeds of innovation while also celebrating the many absurd ideas out there.

Yes, this show is off the air, BUT fear not. There is a glorious website to satisfy your fascination with terrible patent ideas -- some that never got off the ground and some that, surprisingly, did!
