The City, the third-hand spin off of Laguna Beach (Laguna > The Hills > The City if you're keeping track) is in its debut season on MTV -- and in true internet fashion, parodies of the (not that interesting, yet we're still hooked) show and characters are popping up all over the place. Here are the 3 best spoofs that the web currently has to offer:

  • The District from Newsweek -Since The City's premise revolves around west coaster Whitney Port's big move to the Big Apple, the plotline is a perfect parallel to a certain Illinois senator-turned-President that the Internet holds so dear. With uncanny voiceovers and dramatics, this one is hands-down the best parody, ever. Maybe it's because we just like hearing "Barack Obama" refer to Joe Biden and Hilary Clinton as "frenemies."
