Jamie Glaser (no relation, sadly) is a Utah-based musician who has played guitar for television shows such as Designing Women, Who's The Boss and Saved By The Bell. Additionally, he's composed corporate jingles and played with the likes of Chick Corea and The Manhattan Transfer. Not too shabby, if you ask us.

But on the Internet, Jamie Glaser wants you to pay less attention to his body of work, and more attention to his collection of critters. In fact, the self-proclaimed "Dr. Doolittle" has posted no less than 76 videos on YouTube, almost all of which center around his animals, a collection that includes dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, mice and chinchillas.

Needless to say, they're all natural performers. For example:
  • Tiki the Chinchilla spoofs The Knack, protests fur

He also covers old standards, but that's only the beginning...

  • Peepo, the green cheek, gets referred to in biblical sense
  • Doc the Guinea Pig spoofs Jimmy Buffett, also plays the keyboard

  • Peeka, the other green cheek, can probably drink you under the table and bench more than you

  • Lucky the Chinchilla covers Diana Ross and only has three legs

If one were to ask Jamie which of his pets were the most talented, surely he'd be unable to choose.

We, on the other hand, think the answer is obvious. Sure, they've all got their special skills, but Tiki the Chinchilla is an effing STAR ATHLETE!

If you like what you hear, why not pick up Glaser's new album, Music For Pets and People? Although considering Jamie's staunch animal advocacy, he'd probably be just as happy if you just stopped wearing fur.

Or, y'know, taught a guinea pig how to play 'Chopsticks.'
