Ok people... this story came out a few months back, it IS a chow puppy and it IS dyed. Look in any pet supply magazine and you can order the dye as well. I have seen Great Pyr puppies dyed the same as well, but in the news story they interview the person who owns the puppy and say that it IS a chow. Irresponsible breeding in hopes of a) profit b) panda dogs is the product of irresponsible, immoral idiots. Anyone... ANYONE who breeds dogs and does not do so for the purity/show of the breed is just adding to the millions of dogs dying in shelters each year. At the shelter I work at as of yesterday, 47/80 dogs there are PUREBRED- ranging from dachshunds, poodles, cocker spaniels, akitas, labs, schnauzers to your 'designer mutts' schnoodles, puggles, tibetan-tzus, etc. They are ALL at the same risk for euthanization tomorrow, and some are puppies, etc. They are not given special treatment when there are so many millions of other 'purebred' dogs that people who are uneducated/unprepared to deal with in shelters all over the world, and all of you 'breeders' who do it because you like your dog/ want to make money/ think you need to show your child the 'miracle of birth' are the ones leading to KILLING PUPPIES. Enjoy your freaking christmas, murderers. Keep on breeding them, we'll keep on killing them once that 'nice home you sold them to' realizes how big/much training is needed/lazy they are/ have to move/ are allergic/ divorcing/ barky/ much grooming or food is needed/ etc.

By the way, to all of you wanting to know where to find one of these... check your local petfinder, and if you want one THAT BAD... look for a chow or great pyr at a shelter (Kentucky has TONS of those, as do many southern states, you can adopt them for between $25-$130... and buy a container of pet dye (TOTALLY SAFE... look up the vegetable based dyes only) and enjoy...and TADA)

It's manic panic which is safe and all natural to use on animals,people,etc. It's what the loons in hollywood use to get pink streaks on their pooches. It's non toxic and perfectly safe and washes out after a few go around. It's not gonna kill the damn dog.
