Disgusting. It's time to free the bears. Just a bunch of idiots trying to make a nickel. Shame on you. No matter how you look at it, it just plain sick and animal abuse.

Shame on you. I don't know how you can look at yourself in the morning. animals are NOT to be used for this type of entertainment or any form of animal abuse. Give them a break and be more humane. I know what it takes to make these animals do those tricks. Lack of food and water, and heavens knows what else until they 'do the trick'. Again, shame on you. Anything to make a buck...well, try earning it honestly.

To everyone who's commented on what goes into training some of the animals in the videos, I wanted to thank you for bringing it up. We're all animal lovers here at Urlesque, and in my haste to diversify from cats on treadmills and backflipping chinchillas, I may not have given the proper consideration to the circumstances that led to creation of what, at least on the surface, were some pretty fascinating videos. Again, thanks for bringing it up. Obviously animal cruelty is a very serious issue, and it shouldn't be taken lightly. That said, none of us had anything to do with the creation of these videos, nor can we speak to how the animals were trained. Personally I can hardly get people to do things for me, let alone animals, so I wouldn't know the first thing about it.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person who felt this way. At first, I wondered if it could be real. Then I started feeling sick - it's obvious to see how these animals are suffering. I wonder what could have driven them to go through it. UGH!!

I don't see how this is in-humane. If anything, having them play hockey is making them seem more human than before. Chill your boners. And Steve, you're right, it is a bit suspicious, but the hockey fight at the end is what convinced me.

I only watched a few that seems interesting. I am going to say this very slowly so that all of you can understand what I am saying: None of these animals were abused. None of them were harmed or mistreated. Ihave a lot of experience training animals by using humane methods that allow the animals' personality to surface without fear. Rabbits jump. It is what they are designed to do. All these people did was patiently teach these rabbits to jump on cue. Dogs sit. You probably taught your dog to sit on cue. what if the dog decides it doesn't feel like sitting just then? I f you say 'sit' more firmly and apply pressure on the dog's behind or hold a treat above its head does that make it Abuse? No. That is simply reasserting your dominance with a gentle reminder to the dog.

It is in the eyes of the viewers, but not thought about by the idiots whom make the negative comments.
These bears were actually intio what they were ding, playing hocky. It is muchj better form of life than being stuck in some zoo for the entire life.
I train dogs to fetch, do parlor tricks, and break them of bad habits. those who think that cruelty and beatings can create what you just watched, are a bit too dull in the heads. It take amazing dedication to loving these animals as though they are family members.
You don't say badly of the Jack Russel riding the scate board, or surfing in competition, these are activities that enrich the lives of animals. You say it is time to let the animals go free. This is a equaly noble idea, but the majority of these animals are born in captivity, and would never survive the elements of the wild without getting into grievace trouble and problems or get killed. The people whom make these comments , are the people whom have for the most part never have let animals into their lives.
You can believe that the trainers love these animals, ans would stand in the way to protect these animals from harm or abuse.
Sorry but your slight, elementary, and ignorant comments should be kept to yourselves.
Bitch to the govern, ments about protecting the animals who live in the wild from being hunted, or displaced by human invasion of their habitat. The situation of the current president is to do away from these existing protections to allow drilling in the artic protected parks.
It just goesa bit further that the wildest and most dangerous animal is MAN, and when he can use patience and love to manage training eight bears to play, and enjoy playing hockey is a big ATTA BOY, and I salute him!

How disgusting! HUMAN BEINGS ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST ANIMALS ON THE PLANET! "We" entertain ourselves at the cost of other "less-thinking" animals, not just with this horrid display of these poor bears, but also kill other animals simply for play. (It's difficult to tell which is worse.)
This video, made "for entertainment purposes" is truly sad, genuinely pathetic!
