My latest new-favorite-site is called Tape Findings -- a found audio site that's part of Sweetthunder.org. It's described as:
...an archive of one of a kind cassette tape recordings and other odd sounds that I have discovered throughout my years searching thrift stores and garage sales.
Every entry features audio recording along with an image of the original cassette. Faves include a demo tape of a band called "History of the Future," a WWII veteran's first-hand account recorded for his grandchildren and even a Pac-Man Christmas Story read-along. These archives don't just bring out your inner-voyeur, they're utterly addictive!
Though the real jackpot is the site's collection of hokey pre-recorded answering machine greetings!
Prepare for 80s flashbacks below.....

I actually owned the Radio Shack Answering Machine Messages: COMEDY Edition at one time. The Barbra Steisand message was the one I remembered most. Wasn't there a Roseanne Roseannadanna impersonation on there as well?
