It's Thanksgiving here in the US -- one of the holidays where we Urlbots try our hardest to downplay our internet addictions and step away from the computer. But of course, we couldn't leave our dear readers without a little diversion from eating, family time, and more eating (you've snuck away from your family, haven't you?)

Please enjoy a few of our favorite bits from the web -- aka what we're the most thankful for this year (from the Internet). We'll see you on Monday!

I'm thankful for Sarah Palin. She was really good to us this year. Thank you, Governor Palin! -Alex
This season, I cannot give enough thanks for Susan Powter's bananas video blog, Horrible People, and Blik Design. Additionally, I'll be thinking of The Onion News Network, Public School Intelligensia, and USB-powered fans while shoving down cranberries and bird. -Eliot
I'll be joining Jason Mraz for Thanksgiving brunch cuz I'm 2 vegan 4 anybody else. Everybody eats burgers but me and Mraz, who I am so thankful for. If there is one thing Mraz has taught me, it's that you've got to be thankful for your bros and spot them during their workouts. Rest assured, we won't forget to Phelps our abs after our T-day brunch. 'Member to MRAZERCISE guys and be thankful! -Jake

I am thankful for the fact that I have Tumblr to help distract from/document any potentially awkward or guilt-heavy exchanges I may be forced to have with family members this week. -Jessica

This Thanksgiving on the Internet I am thankful for dogs that look like camels and animated GIFs. -Jordan
This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for cats that can help around the house while I whip up Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart's special cognac mashed potatoes. -Kelly
I am thankful for drawings of 7-legged spiders, as they have come to signify those of us who have decided to stop paying bills.

And of course, the world would not be the same without baby miniature horses. I can only dream that one day I be stampeded by a thousand of the tiny hoofed wonders. I bet the bruises would look like daisies and jellybeans. -Stephen

What are you thankful for? Tell us in the comments. And, happy thanksgiving, everyone!
