Want a relaxing yet exotic, beautifying yet earthy experience? Take a mud bath in a volcano. I didn't know it was possible to bathe in anything other than molten lava in the mouth of a volcano, but it is, it is.

Spirited Woman Rayne Martinc explains that it takes someone with spirit to handle a volcano mud bath. While in Cartagena, Columbia, she visited El Tortumo a mini volcano with a "rich, creamy mud crater at the top", not one of the lava spewing kind -- a mud volcano. If you're a clean freak, Martinc says not to worry,

Just wait until you feel the warm smooth texture. And don't worry, there are elder Columbian woman standing in a nearby river ready to strip you naked and wash you off.
