I guess it won't come as a surprise to anyone who has seen the Chucky movies, but I think it's safe to say that boy dolls are way creepier than girl dolls -- even if they're not rife with scars and murderous tendencies. It's hard to say what it is exactly, but something about these male dolls is very off.


Maybe it's the gaping mouth, or the way they're staged. Or maybe it's just that these boys' outfits represent some sort of idealized style of boy dress that I will have absolutely nothing to do with. You be the judge.
