Artist Brandon Bird (who, incidentally, snagged from "Painter of Light" Thomas Kinkade before he could get his hands on it, painteroflight.com) draws and paints art that stops us dead in our tracks. His combination of celebrity shlock, pop cultural artifacts, and twisted humor make for work we would totally buy if we could afford art from somewhere other than Ikea and flea markets.

(Although Bird's art is, actually, very much affordable).







He also makes Law And Order comic books, which is possibly one of the greatest ideas ever hatched by a human being.
