It's not much of a secret that legendary talent show Live At The Apollo houses a very opinionated audience. Maybe they're all handed Red Bull upon entering the historic theater, or maybe they're just, y'know, AWESOME. Whatever the case, mouths are most definitely not kept shut when it's time to judge a performer (and the time begins the moment said performer enters the stage).
The idea of a Caucasian trumpeter, dressed as if he were about to start a new temp job, taking the stage to play funk music on his horn is about the farthest thing away from promising. But behold the magic, which even host/two-legged mustache Steve Harvey can't resist:

This is an old clip-I remember when I came on. As a kid and a trombonist (not a trumpet, fyi) my mom called me in when she saw it. Who says that Trombones are the dorkiest instrument?

Aaand for some reason the rest of my comment vanished. Go figure. Anyway, this dude was on America's Got Talent this past season and I fell in love with him a little bit. Name's Jonathan Arrons and he's so geekishly adorable I can't stand it.
