I wish I'd have taped my hamsters' escapes when I had them. Butthead (the brown one) was too fat and content to attempt escapes, but his brother Beavis (the blond one, naturally) was a miniature Houdini. It didn't matter what we did to barricade his cage, he'd always find a way out somehow, and more often than not travel the house all night and fall asleep in the pan drawer underneath the stove.
