WARNING: the gender debate has officially entered the blogosphere!!

Gender Analyzer provides a "service" where you enter the Web address of a blog and it determines whether it is written by a man or woman. The site uses a text-classifier hosted by uClassify.com and "has been trained on 2000 blogs written by men and women."

If you want to uncover the sex of your favorite anonymous blogger -- you can test the probability of it being a he or she. Also fun: entering a site with multiple contibutors to see if the voice is more male or female.

Here at Urlesque we have a staff of 7 primary bloggers: 5 of them male, 2 of them female -- no wonder Gender Analyzer thought Urlesque was a boy!
