Inspired by the wide world of weird vending machines -- it seems only natural to highlight this glorious find: The Lobster-Claw Live Lobster-Vending Machine!
But the best part about this concept is the inevitable question: what happens once you've "won" your live lobster? The machine does not supply any kind of bag or box, but apparently in Osaka once you've won, you can ask the arcade manager for a baggie. If you can't find the arcade manager? Well, you're out of luck. It's like winning an iPhone -- hey, you've won an $80 phone bill! Or winning a car -- here's your bundle of insurance payments!

These "games" are located all over -- from Maine lobster country to Osaka, Japan -- proving that irony transcends cultures.

This REALLY seems like something PETA needs to put up a fuss about

Why would PETA need to know about it?
It's not any form of cruelty, people are paying to eat what they catch, if they can catch it.

Since 1998, PETA has opted to “put down” 23,640 adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens instead of finding homes for them. Check out this link: http://www.petakillsanimals.com/
