An Australian dog named Leo is being hailed as a hero today for risking his life to protect four kittens in a burning building. When the fire broke out in Leo's home, his owners and another dog ran to escape the blaze, while Leo bravely stayed by the kittens' side to protect them from the fire. By the time firefighters were able to rescue the pets, Leo was passed out unconscious from smoke inhalation, and luckily was revived with an oxygen mask and heart massage.

When he woke up, Leo shared a beautiful moment with his kitten buddies, and gave us a little heart massage of our own.
