The Rusmiddeletaten Department of Health in Oslo, Norway created an inventive anti-drug PSA website urging visitors to Try Drugs.
The site mimics the effects of commonly abused drugs like marijuana, cocaine and heroin as visitors navigate the site. Each "drug page" explains the short and long-term effects of drug use and offers information for those trying to get help -- all as you manipulate a delayed cursor response, blurred text and other "effects" of each drug.
Unlike most anti-drug PSAs, this site's approach makes for an interesting time-waster (pun intended!) and helped make the campaign a finalist for the 2008 Innovative Advertising Awards.
