Here we are: well into fall and the Olympics are just a memory, about as strong as Michael Phelps' acting chops.

But you don't have to wait another four years to revel in the athletic fervor -- we have animals! Athletic animals!

Sure, we all loved following underage gymnasts and middle-aged swimmers, but seriously, water-skiing squirrels? It's enough to bring a patriotic tear to your eye...
