As kids spend September trading study halls and lockers for grassy quads and underbed storage, the Internet is clogged with videos in which the college frosh behind the camera so dutifully give us a tour of their new semi-private, parent-free oasis: their dorm room.

Thanks to Current's own Brett Erlich (4eva the object of our affection), we get to sample just a few of the boundless cliches that accompany these videos. For example, did you know that some kids in college eat Ramen noodles? No, really!
