We've already written about Lucy Lawless, so a natural progression in this random focus on actors is to give attention to The Galactica's stone-cold Captain Adama played with a quiet, often-scary fierceness by leathery actor Battlestar Galactica Edward James Olmos.



Olmos is an Academy Award-nominated actor and director, most memorable for his roles in Stand and Deliver and Blade Runner. He was once married to Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos' Dr. Melfi and Karen in Goodfellas), and he continues to play a major role in activism regarding Latinos in the arts.

Also, he is not this guy:



Professional nutritional counselor, trainer and motivator Eddie Olmos is just like Edward James Olmos, except his body is orange and he writes in ALL CAPS (well, maybe EJO does that, too).

We have nothing against Eddie (in fact, he basically lays out the ideal workout for free). We just think it's fun that his name can so quickly conjure images of the guy from Stand And Deliver.

Best of all, though, is that just because Eddie is a fitness guru rather than a respected actor doesn't mean Edward James wouldn't give pause to flaunting his business, cavorting beachside in a Speedo and 'stache:
