No one wants to stare at a blank wall. It's bare, it's boring and it's depressing. But then again, not everybody wants to pick up a smock and a paintbrush, either.

For the lazy decorator in all of us, the Internet stores tons of fantastic alternatives to having to wear overalls and a bandana just to make your barren wall not remind you of a jail or middle school cafeteria. These include decals: stickers that are clean, easy to attach and -- incidentally -- can be really awesome!

  • Go 8-bit with Donkey Kong decals that let you recreate your own arcade game all over your wall.


  • Know how to use a hammer and nails? Excellent. Need a coat hanger? Perfect.


  • We're not sure who would want to invite a giant replica of this lady into their home, but more power to them.



  • Donnie Darko fans, rejoice. Richard Linklater's cult hit has inspired the creation of a terrifying Frank the Bunny decal to stare you down as you sleep.


  • Measure the height of your child (or midget) with this animal tower silhouette handily marked with inches. (Problem is, you can only order if you know how to read ...whatever language the site is written in.)


  • While we imagine that cartoon dolphin decals are likely meant exclusively for children, we can't help but imagine how much fun it would be to sit, stare, and imitate dolphin noises all the live long day.


  • Technically, this scratch 'n sniff wallpaper isn't a decal or even adhesive, but...um...it's scratch 'n sniff. Your wall will smell like cherries. Yes, please.
