Somewhere, in the tiny dressing room of a community theater, sits an aspiring actress/singer/comic, a triple threat who knows she can make it in the cutthroat business of "show." And with a little inspiration and the help of user-generated content, that very lady has discovered the key to making it in the biz:

Begging!

In a robotic, undeniably patronizing tone (one that brings to mind that teacher in elementary school who was "nice enough" but - as everyone knew - could release her inner biotch when the time called for it), professional entertainer and part-time retail clerk Annie Figenshu (a.k.a. "That Figenshu Girl") has utilized her YouTube account as a public forum in which she exclusively pleads for your assistance in helping build her resume.

In each video post, Annie provides the mailing address of a different talent agency to which you're supposed to [cryptically] mail a postcard with her website's URL on it. And while the idea could potentially be, at best, a cute gimmick, Annie's bizarre, delusional overconfidence in the idea that you'd, without question, totally do this for her because she's just that good is both nauseatingly narcissistic and, um, currraazeee.

Quick! What have we learned?

  • Professional actors are terrifying
  • The Internet can be way depressing
  • Why drama teachers (read: failed actors) can be so mean
  • People still buy postcard stamps

Also, er, she's kind of an ...admitted bigot?
