The art of viral videos is that they're often weird and nonsensical, providing enlightenment in the form of, say, hyperactive kids or chocolate rain. Better yet, it's when they're accompanied by inappropriate, ill-fitting music that the subversive, perhaps even "avant-garde" aesthetic helps a video tear up the web and pop up in our inboxes.
But thanks to Cute Overload for pointing us to footage of an Alaskan moose and her twins frolicking in a sprinkler that somehow bypasses "adorable" on the way to becoming a total tearjerker when set to the music of popular folkie Alison Krauss (played over the actual sound of birds chirping overhead). Just try not to tear up as Mama carefully keeps an eye on her kids as they roughhouse in a lucky homeowner's backyard.
And, please, call your mother.

Amazingly sweet - loved it. Funny thing is, though, that mama moose would have pounded the person filming into the ground if they had stepped foot outside.

That was amazingly beautiful. I am so pleased with the song that was chosen to accompany this video. Congratulations to whom ever filmed this, you were blessed with something that most of us do not get to experience in life,,I am jealous and proud all at the same time. Thank you so much for allowing the rest of us to see and experience the joy and the beauty that nature has to offer.
And "Sam",,,, you need to keep your lame comments to yourself!! If you don't have anything nice to say then Shut the Hell up!!!

Whoever was able to get that on video. Bravo, absolutely cute. At the end, it said call your mother. Oh, I wish that I could. My mom was a hit and run fatality almost 10 years ago. Hold on to each and every day with your mom. You will definitely miss it when you can't just pick up the phone and say Hi Mom "I love you"
