It's no surprise that cakes are HOT on the internet -- so imagine the utter wildfire that occurs when there is photo of a screwed up cake message blazing around the web. Double whammy!

As far as I can tell, the infamous Wal-Mart Cake photo has been making the rounds since 2007 with no signs of stopping as it continues to appear in inboxes and blog posts. The most entertaining part of the story, however, is the multiple dialogue variations from the conversation that accompany the photo in all the posts across the web.

Example One (the earliest I can find):
Some people that work here had a going away party the other day for a woman that is leaving. One of the supervisors called a Walmart and ordered the cake. he told them to write: "best wishes Suzanne" and underneath that write "we will miss you".
Example Two:
Keep in mind this actually really did happen. This is someone who was moving from an insurance claims office.

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Walmart Employee: 'Hello 'dis be Walmarts, how can I help you?'
Customer: ' I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'
Walmart Employee: 'What you want on the cake?'
Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'.

Example Three:
Keep in mind this actually really did happen!!!! This is someone who was moving from an insurance claims office.

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Wal-mart Employee: 'Yo, this be Wal-mart bakery. How can I helps you?
Customer: 'I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'
Wal-mart Employee: 'What you want onda cake?'
Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne and underneath that,We will miss you'.
The Internet has such a vivid imagination.
