8. Jason Kottke: The Brain



  • Who: If blogging is officially an old enough form that it can constitute a small number of "legends," then Jason Kottke is its Jesus (or a prophet or whatever). A household name in households of Internet fanatics, Kottke tends to stumble upon online phenomena hours, days and months before anybody else. Despite recently becoming a daddy, Kottke still somehow manages to have his finger on the pulse of everything online, with most of his work going into his own site and continued employment as a Design Advisor at Buzzfeed.
