The Dark Knight may be a lot of things (brilliant, dark, brilliantly dark), but the one thing it certainly isn't is a kids movie. Thankfully, there's a version for kids, or at least a trailer of a version for kids, and the best part is that it's free and on the internet.

Take the money you saved on movie tickets and spend it on diapers. You don't even have to leave the house. In fact, if you left the house, you probably wouldn't be able to watch it. Plus, the whole point is to give the kids something to watch, and getting them to come outside and huddle around the outdoor computer would be way more work than it's worth. Depending on what time of day it was you'd probably have to deal with monitor glare, and then God forbid, what if started raining? What would you do then? Everyone would get electrocuted. It might not be super-serious, but by the time you were done cooling them down, it would already be time to start thinking about dinner. Did they even eat lunch? They're going to be starving. It just wouldn't be worth the hassle.

Anyway, this little video clocks in at just over four minutes, so I guess plop the kids down, and I don't know, just do something that you could do in four minutes. Just stop worrying about everything for once. I mean seriously, just chill out. OK? Whatever.
