So watching the Teletubbies made you come out of the closet, watching the Boohbahs made you feel far out and on some kind of acid trip, and won't-you-be-my-neighbor Mr. Rogers still creeps you out. But there's more to weird children's TV than what's aired in the good ol' US of A. It's a great big world out there, and you should count your lucky stars that you weren't exposed to the following 10 Most Traumatizingly Odd Kids TV Shows OF ALL TIME From Across the Planet, otherwise you might be more afraid of foreign lands than you already are (see xenaphobia).


10. Iftah Ya Sim Sim
  • Huh? 'Sesame Street' Saudi style.
  • What's weird about that? They don't have "Big Birds" in the Arab world. They have No'Man, a giant camel that looks like Big Foot.
  • So? The video's also been watermarked with a scary black cloud that flashes alien hieroglyphs over the heads of prancing children.


  • Traumatized how? In seven days a zombie girl's gonna drag herself out of a well and 'Ring' your neck.
