Been trapped in a cubicle too long and forgotten what green looks like? Totally blanking on purple? As usual, the internet has such inane yet oddly existential issues covered - just head on over to this "Color Field Websites" roundup by the artist Damon Zucconi (who sports a stark b&w website) for some answers. Jason Kottke's massive single serving sites meme from a while back highlighted a few of the sites listed, such as Zucconi's "Sometimes Red, Sometimes Blue" and Rafael Rozendaal's addictive ColorFlip.com, but the roundup also includes a couple of sites we haven't seen before, most notably Zucconi's "From Black to Blue and Back Again" and "Germany" by roglok. At any rate, it is undoubtedly good to have the single serving meme filtered for the entrancing, philosophical world of color - and if you don't believe color is any of those things, we prescribe Words and Thoughts in RGB, a mini-documentary about the subject (embedded below).
