Companies are starting to get a hang of this viral advertising game. Yesterday we told you about Easton's Ron Stilanovich Campaign, and today we bring you Nike's latest: Kobe Bryant hurdling an Aston Martin speeding towards him at high speeds. It's a promo for his new Hyperdunk sneakers that seems inspired by CGI-aided Lebron and Mike Vick ads. The video's ignited a veritable blogstorm over whether it's real, which is just pure silliness. Of course there were some special effects involved; Kobe wouldn't risk getting run over by a luxury automobile a week before the playoffs, Nike wouldn't risk squashing one of its most lucrative endorsers, and the Zenmaster would never approve of such stressful activities. Kobe did his best to put the mini-controversy to rest yesterday, telling a Lakers' sideline reporter, "It's Hollywood baby. If Rambo Part 20 can take on a whole army, I can jump over an Aston Martin." Check it out and judge for yourself...
