Hold on to your parachute pants, folks. A few days ago Metafilter founder Matt Haughey stumbled across a Chinese guy recreating MC Hammer's classic 'Can't Touch This' choreography step-by-step in his living room, complete with a hilariously disinterested knitter in the background. Soon Chinese Hammer was being met with universal acclaim from the MeFi community, which began digging up even more of his videos on some Chinese version of YouTube.

But Chinese MC Hammer currently has quite the collection of videos on good old American YouTube (username HammerXXX, obviously). The vids may have been lying woefully undiscovered for months, but it's also possible that they've recently been switched from 'private' to 'public' as a play for greater fame. We're only too happy to shine a spotlight - and because we've yet to see a thorough compilation of these viral masterpieces alongside the music videos that inspired them (amazingly, HammerXXX's align with many of them almost exactly), here, o Internet, is a definitive guide.

1. 'Can't Touch This'
This one started it all. Click play on both videos at the same time to bask in the awesome. And really, what's up with the knitter?
