As a gal who has never been big on bookmarking, Instapaper has changed the way I consume the Internet. Subscribing to hundreds of blogs and sites through an RSS reader is daunting because it is always tough for at-work surfers [or short attention spans] to read all the new articles in one sitting. Oftentimes, I'll mark or pin an article to read later. Do I ever return to the article? Fat chance. There's always new content to read. That's where Instapaper comes in quite handy.

Created as a side-baby by Tumblr's Marco Arment, Instapaper is an incredibly easy tool to bookmark something on the web that you want to read later. With a quick click of a 'Read Later' button that is installed in your toolbar, a link to the article of interest is placed on your Instapaper account page. You can choose a password for your account, although it is not necessary if you're not ready to commit to having to remember yet another password.

When ready to start reading, hit up Instapaper.com and your chosen articles await you. The site is free of design bells-and-whistles allowing for quick and easy mobile browsing as well. The beauty of the service is truly in its simplicity. For loads of description, read the site's FAQs.

Now when I find myself in front of my computer on a Saturday night with time to kill [don't judge!], I read through the articles or sites that I had been meaning to give a deeper look. Since its launch, Instapaper has been met with rave reviews. Guess we're not the only ones crushing on Instapaper!
